At Fountain of Compassion, it is our burden to serve those who are downcast in their lives physically, socially & emotionally, showing the compassion of Jesus Christ irrespective of religion, color or caste according to Matt 20:28: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. It is a great joy to see the smile on the faces when the poor are fed, the sick getting restored and helpless children receive the light called ‘education’.
Health and hygiene are basic necessities for a good life. We conduct free medical camps to those who do not have access to proper medical care within the town or nearby villages, as needs arise. In such camps, a team of dedicated medical professionals and specialists diagnose and treat ailments of the local community along with the team of volunteers from the church. They are also given necessary information on oral and general hygiene.
Acts 10:38 says: ...who (Jesus) went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed. Please pray for this ministry. We invite you to partner with us in this program. You can write to us on how you can be part of this healing ministry that reaches out to the sick. Click here to get in touch with us.
In the underprivileged sections of the society, many women and children are suffering because of the alcoholic addiction in men. This leads to virtually little or no income to run the family. Children are the most affected lot. To alleviate this problem, equipping women to make a living is must. As this vision was given by the Lord to our Pastor, free tailoring classes were started in the year 2011. Young and middle-aged wives are taught tailoring skill at free of cost. Women who participate in these classes are able to sustain their family and children. This is a great blessing for them. “A good meal can put a smile on a poor man’s face”. Right around us there are people who do not have good food. ‘Feeding the poor’ is a program in which we share good food to those in poverty moved by the love of Christ. This is a monthly program held on 3rd Saturdays and during Christmas and Easter times.
Even Jesus was moved with compassion for the people who are hungry and fed them multiplying 5 loaves and 2 fishes. It brings lot of joy for people who receive and blessing for those who give. You can partner with us by donating a special support towards the poor feeding service during birthdays, or wedding anniversaries of your family members. Please write to us by Click here.
Today’s children are future of tomorrow’s world. When children cannot go to school because of losing their parents or because of their parents being very sick, it can become a massive blow to their future dreams. We help such children financially to pursue and finish their school studies. This is done for children who are part of the church. Through this vision, children have been helped from a disastrous moment in their life and their dreams have been realized. Not only have they finished school and university, but they have also found a profession to take care of their families and fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives. Psalm 41:1 says: Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. Your prayer for this ministry is much appreciated. You are welcome to support a child’s education for a year. For more details please write to us by Click here
